Phil Lynch - Henderson, NC - '66 SS 396 360hp This is my 1st classic car. While shopping for a GTO, I ran across this car for sale at a Charlotte car show. I was immediately converted. It had just completed a frame off restoration with fresh burgundy red poly paint, black vinyl top, new carpet, interior, and dash. The engine was freshened with a .30 over bore, 375hp cam, Elelbrock intake and carb, and electronic ignition. The 4speed M20 transmission was freshened with a new heavy duty clutch and the rear end gear was changed to a positive traction 3.73. She rides on Rally wheels with General 70 series radial TAs. Music is provided by an AM/FM stereo with tape and trunk mounted 6 CD changer. |
